Wedding Packages
Pre-Wedding Sail Celebration - Great opportunity for a fun get together for up to 6 close friends and family (we can organize other boats as well if you have additional guests). Let Manitou provide you and your friends with a one-of-a-kind experience before your special day.
Wedding Transportation - Arrive at your wedding in Bayfield or the surrounding harbor towns in style. What could be more romantic then arriving or departing your wedding via a classic wooden yacht wreathed in flowers, white tulle and draping bows.
Wedding Photography - During the wedding reception, Manitou can be available for wedding photography. The bride, groom and their families can use the boat as a romantic setting for some truly unique wedding photography. In addition, if you choose to be married on board Manitou while she is under sail, we can arrange for a photographer to take photos in an accompanying boat for spectacular undersail photographs.
Ceremony Under Sail - An intimate, romantic wedding under sail-perfect for just the two of you or up to 4 family and friends. A beautiful and affordable wedding-sailing off into the Apostle Islands with the sunlight on the water, the waves lapping on pristine, wilderness shorelines and Manitou, the Spirit of the Islands, starting you on your journey together.
Bridal Package - Manitou is available, fully decorated, for dockside weddings. The ceremony can take place on board-on the bow-surrounded by flowers gracing the bowsprit-or in the teak cockpit. Bridal packages can be arranged for dockside weddings in Bayfield at the Bayfield City Dock or other locations in the Apostle Islands.
Reception Package - With Manitou serving as the site for a wedding ceremony, we can organize a wedding reception to meet your needs. The private Clubhouse at Port Superior Marina, a premier resort facility on Lake Superior, makes a beautiful reception site. Complete with a pool and three decks over-looking the yacht harbor, the Clubhouse can accommodate up to 100 guests, followed by live music (chosen from a selection of very talented local musicians) and dancing on the decks. Weddings in the Islands - The Apostle Islands are truly a national treasure with rocky outcroppings of billion year old basalt, stretches of white sand beaches, dusk to dawn panoramic Lake Superior views and historic lighthouses. For those of adventurous spirit, we provide the opportunity to be married or renew your wedding vows on the billion year old basalt ledges of Stockton Island, the gentle, white sand spits of Raspberry Island or the Lighthouse grounds of Sand Island.
